We are delighted to share that the US Green Building Council’s Center for Green Schools has published an article featuring the successful Green Apple Day of Service campaigns organized by Dar Al Handasah Shair and Emirates Green Building Council in Dubai. These sustainability-focused events, mutually organized by the two organizations, marked a significant milestone in celebrating 10 years of green school service. As a supporter of the contest, EmiratesGBC played a vital role in recognizing the talent and creativity of the young architects of tomorrow. Members of EmiratesGBC also participated in the judging jury, providing valuable insights and guidance to the aspiring architects. Moreover, EmiratesGBC’s representative delivered an opening speech at the event, emphasizing the importance of sustainability in architecture and encouraging the students to incorporate green building practices in their designs.
