COURSE DELIVERY

The Building Retrofit Training is held in EmiratesGBC office or online and are facilitated by leading industry experts. The course is complemented by the EmiratesGBC Technical Guidelines for retrofitting Existing Building which serves as the reference text of the building retrofit training program. The course provides organized and resourceful information for stakeholders seeking to be educated on the viable retrofit methods to make existing buildings sustainable.

The building retrofit training course was perfect for me to further understand retrofitting requirements that are in line with the Emirates Green Building Council guidelines, as I plan to be renovating a hotel in the near future.

I took the Building Retrofit Training because I am a non-technical professional entering the retrofit sector in Dubai, working on demand side management. This course gave me a solid overview and understanding of building/villa/structure from a retrofit perspective and the current legislation and trends in Dubai.
