Khaled Bushnaq is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Energy Management Services International, and one of the leading figures in establishing the Energy Efficiency industry in the Middle East. EMS Int. was established by Khaled Bushnaq in the early nineties with a handful on engineers, to be transformed into a multimillion dollar company operating in six countries with more than two dozen on professionals serving the energy efficiency market. EMS serves the energy efficiency market in existing buildings as well as projects from the design stage. EMS clientele covers commercial, residential, industrial and institutional facilities and includes the famous Burj Khalifa (tallest Tower in the world), Dubai Mall (largest Mall in the world). EMS is a founding member of the Emirates Green Building Council (EGBC) where Khaled served as the Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors. Khaled is also on the Advisory Board of the British University in Dubai. Professional Associations: - Senior Member/ Professional Engineer, USA - Association of Energy Engineers Special Awards: Recipient of the "Special Recognition Award" presented by the Association of Energy Engineers AEE-USA at the 16th World Energy Congress Atlanta, Georgia - October 1993 and named Legend of Energy 2010. Khaled currently serves as the Chair to the Emirates Green Building Council.

Habiba Al Mar’ashi is the Co-founder and Chairperson of Emirates Environmental Group (EEG). EEG, is a pioneering non-governmental organisation established in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 1991. She single handedly established the Arabia CSR Network in 2004, as the MENA region’s pioneering and only multi-stakeholder platform with local and multi-national entities. Under her leadership, both organisations achieved tremendous success and repute, emerging as preferred partners across sectors. She guided EEG to become the first environmental NGO in the world to receive An ISO 14001 certification. She is also a co-founder of the Emirates Green Building Council, which she Co-founded in 2006 and serves as its Treasurer. Mrs. Al Mar’ashi has been actively associated in leadership roles in global bodies such as UN Global Compact, UNEP (civil society representative), Global Reporting Initiative Stakeholder Council (GRI), World Green Building Council (WGBC), a member of the Advisory Committee of the Det Norske Veritas (DNV-GL) Certification Advisory Board for the Middle East. She is currently a Board Member of the Global Urban Development and Patronage Committee of myclimate. More recently Ms Habiba has been selected to come on board as a member of a high level Global Investors for Sustainable Development (GISD) Alliance at the invitation of the UN Secretary-General, Mr. António Guterres. GISD Alliance was formed in 2019 to unlock impediments and promote solutions for mobilising long-term private investment for sustainable development. Mrs. Al Mar’ashi also serves as a member of the advisory Board for Academic Institutions such as the Rochester Institute of Technology, Dubai and Gems Modern Academy. She also sits on several boards that deal with Women and Sustainability in the Region and Globally.

Tushant has been working in the ESG space for over a decade across a number of international markets including India, Middle East & Europe in the real-estate, infrastructure and manufacturing sectors. With a background in corporate ESG strategy for listed companies, decarbonisation pathways, technical low-carbon/net-zero & human-centric design design, and construction, and renewable energy procurement including power purchase agreements (PPAs), he has a strong passion to create a positive impact on the triple bottom line. Over the last 5-years, he is working closely with across industry groups including World Economic Forum ‘Concrete Zero’ working group, UK Green Building Council, the Science Based Targets Initiative’s advisory board for ‘Building’ sector, World Green Building Council and as a Board member at Emirates Green Building Council. Currently Tushant is Head the Sustainability at Ramboll, where he is leading the Sustainability, ESG advisory and Regenerative & Human-centric design services for the business in the middle east region.
