At SMART INSULATION FINISHING SYSTEMS, we address the energy leak issues (thermal losses) through building envelopes. From manufacturing innovative insulation products to offering sustainable and practical solutions to help save energy losses in your building – our team at SIFS are experts in energy efficient envelopes with experience of over 30 years. SIFS team also includes certified energy professionals using state-of-the-art envelope auditing tools, looking to provide cost-effective retrofit options for existing buildings with poor envelopes.

As part of product development and studying the performance of the building envelope materials in detail, SIFS R&D program has developed on-site testing capacity, which is also complemented with a singular permanent facility – the “SIFS Building Envelope Analyzer” (SIFS BEA). This is a novel test facility used for full scale testing of building envelope systems under realistic boundary conditions which also won the prestigious MENA Green Building Research Award 2020. SIFS BEA is equipped with real-time visualisation dashboards to demonstrate the energy savings associated with efficient envelopes. SIFS is collaborating with universities in the region collaborating on many levels including sharing of data (from SIFS BEA) and organising industrial visits to this facility. We believe it is vital to educate the coming generations who will play a major role towards attaining a sustainable future.
