Khaled Bushnaq is a leading sustainability expert and green building pioneer with over 30 years of experience in advancing energy efficiency and sustainable development in the Middle East.
He is the Founder and CEO of Energy Management Services – Emirates (EMS), the region’s first energy efficiency and sustainability consultancy, and the Chairman of the Emirates Green Building Council (EGBC). Khaled has been instrumental in delivering thousands of sustainability projects across the MENA region and in supporting the certification of tens of millions of square meters of green buildings.
A founding member of EGBC since 2006, Khaled has also served in senior regional and international advisory roles, contributing to policy development, capacity building, and market transformation in the built environment. He is widely recognized for his leadership, mentorship, and long-standing commitment to advancing sustainability in the UAE and beyond.
