Student Excellence Award
The Dr. Owainati Student Excellence Award, sponsored by EmiratesGBC Co-Founder Dr. Sadek Owainati, specifically rewards a student from a recognized university in the United Arab Emirates who has conducted exceptional research work in a subject related to green buildings in the Middle East.
Judged by a panel of leading industry experts, the award program is a great opportunity for final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students to be recognized for research that bridges the gap between academic research and industry. Winners of the award are eligible for a cash prize and receive a 1-year complimentary student membership to EmiratesGBC. Winners and shortlisted applications will be announced at the MENA Green Building Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in October 2024.
The 2025 Dr. Owainati Student Excellence Award is running between the 8th of May 2025 and extended to the 15th of July 2025.

- Standardized executive summary of the paper
