“We shape our buildings, and afterwards our buildings shape us”

Winston Churchill

Emirates Green Building Council is proud to sit on the Steering Committee of Better Places for People, a World Green Building Council led global project which aims to create a world in which buildings are not only good for the environment, but also support healthier, happier and more productive lives for those who occupy them.
With the support of this Committee, the WorldGBC Health & Wellbeing Framework was launched providing a high-level educational resource, structured across six core principles for health and wellbeing in the built environment. The principles are conceptual, allowing them to be universally applicable for an international audience and diverse range of stakeholders. It can be used by actors across the value chain, from designers to occupiers, construction firms to policymakers.
