A Letter from EGBC Family

Dear EGBC Members and Industry Supporters,

The summer months of July and August generally give us time to assess the accomplishments of the first part of the year while strategically preparing for the rest of the year. The planning for 2014 Q3/Q4 and beyond is moving full speed ahead, and we look forward to inviting you to numerous upcoming events and activities showcasing the progress of the green building movement in the region.

Emirates Green Building Council will be present during key exhibitions and we will take an active part in global community initiatives such as World Green Building Week and Green Apple Day of Service. These exhibitions and community initiatives give us the opportunity not only to present what we do, but also to advocate the green building movement and educate the industry and general public towards a greener future.

We always need your support in attending and sponsoring these events, and we encourage you to join us in making these important education and awareness campaigns a success. For more details on how you can get involved, please contact the EGBC Office Team. We value our members’ commitments, and your contributions can help us develop deliverables that benefit the industry and align with our Leaders’ Vision to make the U.A.E. greener.

Lastly, I sincerely hope that your prayers during this last month of Ramadan have been heard, and on behalf of the Emirates Green Building Council I wish you a happy Eid Al Fitr.

Sincerely,
Saeed Al Abbar
Chairman
