CSCEC Middle East L.L.C. (hereinafter referred to as CSCME) is instituted as a major overseas operational enterprise of China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CSCHQ). CSCME is an established contractor that provides multi-disciplinary (i.e. Building, Infrastructure and MEP work) Engineering and Construction services in the UAE with headquarters in Dubai.

CSCHQ was founded in 1957 and established in Beijing, China. In the year 2009, CSCHQ was officially listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange as having the largest IPO in the world. It was recognized as the No. 147 of the top 500 Global Enterprise by “Fortune” magazine in the year 2011.

CSCHQ is among the 500 most famous brands in the world. It has acquired over the years a profound corporate culture and an exceptional multi-disciplinary construction practice. It has developed and achieved outstanding standards with Class A certificates issued by the Chinese Ministry of Construction in the fields of roads, infrastructure, and housing construction.

In July 2003, CSCME was awarded the Palm Jumeirah Garden Home Villas Project, an iconic housing project on the world famous Palm Jumeirah. In March, 2005, CSCME was formally established in Dubai, UAE. By the year 2008, CSCME ventured into other Emirates and established branches in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah. During this time, the company expanded and became a diversified contractor with its own Infrastructure and MEP divisions.

The company had been awarded a total of 35 projects (all 3 divisions included) in the UAE out of which 21 have been completed, and 14 are either on-going or kept on hold based on the owner’s request. The projects value that had been awarded since the company’s first assignment exceeded AED 12 billion in a time frame of less than 9 years. The contract value of the on-going projects is more than AED 6 billion.
